Back in early 2021, I got to help the team at Goodbye Kansas with the preproduction of Avalanche’s Contraband announcement trailer, which is still unreleased.
My role was a bit unconventional—somewhere between concept art and previs. Instead of just sketches or isolated assets, I built almost the entire set in 3D, giving directors and supervisors the freedom to fly through the environment and test different camera angles in real time.
